The neck, hands, wrists, earlobes, and waistline are common sites for contact dermatitis to metal, such as that found in jewellery, buttons, and zippers on garments.

Itching without any ashes or allergies is quite typical. Pruritus, the biological name for itching, is an indication of an underlying medical condition or illness. If the itching is isolated to a certain location of the body, it indicates that the disease is only limited to the skin.
